Wall to Wall employed Fabian Diering as a location fixer in Berlin for two weeks between Sept – Oct 2007 for BBC’s “Who Do You Think You Are?” During this time Fabian recommended various filming locations and obtained relevant contacts and permits for us. He carried out thorough research, providing us with numerous location photographs that proved extremely helpful in the short turnaround we had before arriving in Berlin to recce.
Fabian sourced excellent drivers and vehicles for our crew while we were in Berlin. None of our crew spoke German so Fabian was invaluable in communicating, translating and interpreting for us. Our shoot in Berlin couldn’t have gone better. The night before the shoot Fabian drove us around our locations and pointed out some other interesting options. The day of the shoot we were taken seamlessly from location to location, nothing was too much of a problem.
